i just googled this engine and didnt really help matters! the hcs stands for high compression swirl. the hcs in the UK was used in escorts and fiestas but the ka used an endura-E engine which is identical to the hcs except for having an alloy sump and different inlet and exhaust manifolds. so basically an endura-E is an hcs! cant find any info on th hcs I4 ohc engine tho!

dont know,this certainly isnt an english video so i dont expect the engine to be in any of our cars, but the hcs in england is found in the ford ka and fiesta range,its based on the valencia/kent engine with single point injection and an electronic coil pack where the dizzy used to sit,but these were overhead valve engines not ohc so this engine puzzles me,maybe its mazda based?

What is my reward? I get to use the machine to power my home. I get to use it to drive and visit my family that I never see because I cant afford to spend $1000 in gasoline or maybe so I can land a job further from home & not worry what the cost of gas is. That drummer rules because he is Denny Carmassi! He played with Ronnie on all the Montrose albums, the GAMMA project and of course went on to record and tour on many albums for Heart over the years. He is fantastic drummer and deserves much more recognition than he gets in my opinion. If you don't have GAMMA 2, you need to go to amazon and buy it NOW. His drumming on that album is completely over the top and tasty! I think it's his best performance on record. Peace -Dave

Don't Flame Me! I think his tone sucked on this. The guitar was breaking up. His lead break was average for stuff I've heard him do, too (having a bad day on lead) Rest of the band was spot on. Sammy was esp. good on this! I think Ronnie became a more complete player in a few years after this (Open Fire LP) Although the "Montrose" LP is in my personal to 50 best albums of all time. Great comments. I saw Montrose in Duluth in 70's as well, I think I saw that same tour with Black Oak "PacNWRealtor". I know for sure I saw Montose with Foghat. I was able to see Montrose again in the mid 90's at the Cabooze in Mpls. Ronnie Montrose is one of the best for sure.

I don't have sound working on my computer yet, so I don't know what he said, but: You're wrong. This doesn't necessarily have anything to do with induction or electromagnets. It has to do with the Lorentz force that describes the force on a moving charge in a magnetic field. More loops -> more moving charges -> more torque -> coil moves faster.
