The best thing they did was the Ep with Hollywood Squares. I'm not going to lie, I'd never heard of them before the new album, and got into them because of Nong Eye Gong. Meshuggah DO play in 4/4 for the most part, it's just so heavily syncopated that it's damn near impossible to tell unless you have really good internal rhythm. And the thing about DEP is, not all their stuff sounds like this. They make a few poppy songs per album as a brilliant marketing ploy, really, so that little emo kids who like Fall Out Boy will buy their albums just to be kicked in the face by the sheer brutality.

How do you figure? They only made 547 GNX's, You would have to be crazy to drive that car around like he does in this video. Right... some accents on the singer's part remind me patton on the "Irony is a dead scene" mini LP. Problems are it just sounds like an imitation, and the rest of the song is far less creative than any piece of the "Irony is..." 4 tracks LP. The reason i bash this band and not tera melos is because despite both bands are very complex and talented..Tera melos doesn't produce this sort of ear piercing noise, DEP is trying to turn sounds that are generally thought of as dissonance and make it into a music genre. I guess it all really comes down to taste, but I tried to get into this band, and to me it's just noise.

You are so stupid I am surprised you even know how to access the internet, let alone get to Youtube and watch videos. Iron Maiden?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?! DEP is covering a song that was never even meant to be done with instruments, and they are doing it extremely well. Granted the original version on the album had a MUCH better vocalist, but this isn't bad. This makes Iron Maiden look about as complex as The White Stripes, and Disturbed.. well they just suck.
