Great answer President-Elect Obama......Conservatives are always runnin' as Minister of Sumthin rather than runnin' as elected officials. Alan "Uncle Tom" Keyes so lost dis debate and he keeps losin' LOSER...
By: libertyeconomics. on 04 Dec 08, 00:55:16
Alan Keyes clobbered Obama in this.
By: alkasalzer. on 03 Dec 08, 19:57:57
One's faith is inherently an influence in one's positions and choices. Regardless, as a Christian, I appreciate someone who is able to realize what role a politician has: it is to solve public problems.
By: RussellUpsomgrubb. on 03 Dec 08, 06:46:31
Alan Keyes is a fucking idiot, now filing suit in California questioning Obama's citizenship. Could Keyes be any whiter?
By: sarah11790. on 03 Dec 08, 06:38:09
Obama pretty much said his faith has nothing to do with his politics- I don't know why any Christian would vote for him.
By: sarah11790. on 03 Dec 08, 06:34:05
Obama doesn't even answer the question- the 2nd guy answered wonderfully
By: koabarra. on 02 Dec 08, 01:07:22
Yeah, damn Christians shouldn't have opinions or beliefs, huh?
By: koabarra. on 02 Dec 08, 01:03:57
A false religion that Obama claims to believe in, apparently.
By: wizKidd86. on 01 Dec 08, 21:04:05
But this is a political debate, not a sermon!
By: cookiethepuss. on 01 Dec 08, 01:52:15
Wow! Alan Keyes is maybe the gayest straight guy I have ever seen!
By: spencerdev91. on 01 Dec 08, 01:50:19
Obama is an excellent debater
By: spencerdev91. on 01 Dec 08, 01:50:04
He's against gay rights so I doubt it. He's a hardcore christian
By: monsterface2008. on 30 Nov 08, 01:51:00
Jesus Christ is coming soon. Going to politics its not going good place to be as Christians. Alan is right on a lot of things, but Jesus says not to be conform but transform. Its good that Alan lost to him, because the world will NEVER accept as a Christian. The world will loves her own, and not Jesus Christ followers. This is lesson learn for Alan Keys.
By: cookiethepuss. on 29 Nov 08, 21:21:22
Is Alan Keyes gay?
By: ChaoticSouls. on 28 Nov 08, 19:55:49
I don't understand why so many people said oh I'd vote for keyes when he uses the same old religious rhetoric that has been dividing this country.
By: pmsvictor. on 28 Nov 08, 18:23:19
Btw Alan Keyes can suck my dick.. Why is religion a fucking subject here, as Obama said hes focusing on jobbs etc not a fucking false religion.. WHAT THE FUCK
By: GodAloneBeTheGlory. on 28 Nov 08, 14:16:32
Oops. You're right. But you did follow up and try to say that other religious texts have the same historical backing as the bible to which I just proved you wrong with all of my earlier posts. Hopefully you will consider what I have said and honestly search out the reasons that the bible is a trustworthy document.
By: wildreams. on 28 Nov 08, 04:26:05
No i was not the one that said that u are mistaken.
By: GodAloneBeTheGlory. on 27 Nov 08, 18:25:46
I claimed that there was enough documentation in favor of the bible to support my own faith to which you responded: "all you have is documentation? by whom? ill bet most of the are schizos and glory seekers. do believe everything a book tells you? the bible say it, so it must be true! i agree with sayeret the book is full of fairytales. Abraham was a schizo and so was joan of arc and so many others." Therefore, I proceeded to prove you wrong and show you just how reliable these documents are.
By: wildreams. on 27 Nov 08, 13:32:55
Claims? no claims, just find all the informations here irrelevant to the video.
By: GodAloneBeTheGlory. on 27 Nov 08, 00:18:42
Well, if you want to know the amount of backing that the bible has, feel free to ask, and I will be happy to share. Just make sure you have all the facts necessry before making claims in the future. Thanks.
By: wildreams. on 26 Nov 08, 04:19:24
I'm not a Bible scholar, and we are not interested. Thanks for sharing anyway :)
By: GodAloneBeTheGlory. on 26 Nov 08, 02:39:55
Which brings up my next point. There isn't any historical document that even comes close to the number of manuscripts that the new testament has. The Gospel absolutely the most attested work of the ancient world. Let's compare the number of manuscripts. Plato: 7 Pliny: 7 Aristotle: 49 Tacitus: 20 Cesar: 10 And all of these writings were dated over 1000 years after the original was written. However, the New testament has over 20,000 all of which date to less than 100 years after the original.
By: GodAloneBeTheGlory. on 26 Nov 08, 02:30:44
Also, I would like to point out that even though it says that there are thousands of differences, what that means is that if there are a thousand manuscripts with the same difference in each of them, it counts for one thousand differences in official count. But did you know that out of over 20,000 manuscripts, every last minute difference in them never put any doctrine in question. And this certainly goes for the resurrection as well, which is the core of the Christian faith.
By: GodAloneBeTheGlory. on 26 Nov 08, 02:26:14
I looked and I found no backing to his claims at all. Sure, it's true that most early hebrew manuscripts don't have the last 12 verses in Mark, the earliest written Gospel. But even without the last 12 verses, we still have the empty tomb, the divine messengers, and the message that "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him." I find that a weak argument against the resurrection.
