So, you think that Middle class is under $100,000 and anyone over that is upper class? $100,000 is not a lot of money especially when you loose 26% of a pay check before you get it, pay 8.75% sales tax on any item you purchase, not to include hidden taxes. Your 100,00 is actually 68,437.00 after tax Of course if you are poor and doing nothing, like getting an education to develope marketable skills, I guess $100,000 would be considered a lot, but not upper class. I agree that 100 years ago, that blacks faced open racism and applaud all those brave men and women that faced down racism over the past century. But I disagree with Mr. Obama's economic rhetoric. The middle-class are already drained, up to 50% of their lives owned by the government. How far do we go - 75% in taxes? You can't drain the job creators and expect to keep your jobs. food is way way more expensive in mexico since workers spend a major percent of their poor income to buy the minimum to survive. Employers can (And do) change their employes contracts every six months so the workers don´t get any rigth to health or other law written services. we (workers) are suposed to wrok 8 hoyrs..but we are forced to work even twice taht without extra paying...or loose our sad works

I would say, you should do some research before talking about things you dont know. In mexico people work max. 8hrs a day. In case u have to work extrahours then you get paid double per each hour but this happens rarely. Minimum salary might not be perfect yet, but you should always considerate things according to the country. Food among other things are much cheaper in Mexico if you compare. And one of our problems is the lazy people sitting in the congress doing nothing for the country.

Well, we do need investment to develope jobs, of course our minimum wage is not where it should be, but it is also a simbolic number. While our salary conditions are way far from the US, very few people make the minimum salary. There´s a labor reform in process to make our policies more realistic but still it´s not the president´s decision to make but the congress´. The back problem is our lousy sence of labour starting from the bussiness men to the working men. We lack of a true laboral culture

Felipe Calderon wants to make Mexico the best place to invest???? Minimum wage in Mexico is 60 cents/ h , but they have some of the richest people in the world. Mexicans have to work 12 hrs a day just to have access food. Obviously if you keep paying people 60 cents per hour they will bring slavery jobs. That's a shame that Calderon, who apparently was a Harvard educated, does not speak English to explain to the world what he thinks. I still love Hillary but after reading Obama's book Audacity of Hope I see the attraction of his candidacy as well. He really is something. Different than Hillary but he will do a great job. Amazing individual. No argument, the better candidate, but we are at the bottom line. Throwing insults accomplishes nothing, unless you start believing them. The campaign is over, and it will take time to get past all the hard feelings, but America, Hillary's America must do that. this proves you don't have to wait for GM to give you a vehicle that you need ! yeah they have the volt but is just a PHEV=Hybrid with a 1.4 liter petrol engine to generate electricity so ur still gonna buy spark plugs, belts hoses, alternator, starter, motor oil, tune ups, oil changes, filters, just like a regular car so whats new ?

Been thinking of doing an electric conversion job with a friend on an '85 Pontiac Firebird - we'd have to rip out pretty much all the old stuff, re-work the suspension and floor, throw in racing seats, etc, but we could probably make it light enough to run quite nicely on electricity. Some would call it rape. I'd call it a kickass drag car. :)

they took part of the electronics out but I think there is something like 21 of them left and they are under contract never to drive again. I dogged a couple of GM stooges about it and their defense was that noone has asked to be allowed to make them drive again which is of course bullshit. I asked Chelsea Sexton to ask GM to release them to puncture that excuse but she didn't want to.. I found that disappointing

I've been involved in 3 motorcycle accidents. Not a broken bone or other serious injury from any of them. Was I lucky? You bet I was. I have also been involved in a couple minor wrecks in a car and have suffered worse injuries. It's situational. I've seen people in huge trucks die from what appears to be a minor fender bender. The size of your vehicle doesn't make you necessarily safer, just reduces your risk of serious injury or death.

Not entirely, it would only be a matter of time until the people behind oil would jump ship and see how profitable electric vehicles can be. You know about all these technologies the oil industry is trying to put down, battery technology for one, one day when they finally decide to jump ship, they come out saying 'look what we made', only by then, that technology will be decades out of date. Greedy people will always find ways to monopolise, with EV's, it'll be no different. Chris
