To also add, I am sure Johnny knew God's Mercy through his life to. People think its easy being Christian and everything is Hunky Dorey, but despite the tough times it is the best path one can go down. I am talking about a relationship with God. Thats why you will see Christians talk about God's Judgment, but also show His Mercy through thier lives.

Eli, its about God's Judgment, not our Judgment. He is just preaching it. It may seem to be fire and Brimstone, but it is truth, especially a truth Johny Cash was willing to share. Johny Cash I am sure knew he was a sinner. Listen to his music. Especially the Video "Hurt". Like I said it is God's Judgment he is singing about not His. Whether or not you believe in God's word or that you agree Johny should be singing about such judgement is another matter.

No matter how famous someone appears to be...the bottom line is everyone needs a Savior, and Jesus fits the bill. The open invitation is appealing and Jesus meets people wherever they are. Thanks Johnny for delivering Good News. BTW: Getting cut down is another way of saying, "Coming to a new revelation". It is a blessing that we meet Jesus now with whatever our circumstances.
