Praise the Lord Sis! I do understand, but God is very specific about His worship, from the temple to the priests, no flesh shall glory in His sight... and we PERISH for lack of knowledge. The ministry of dance is not entertainment, it IS Ministry. We would be distracted and not be able to receive well enough if our pastors stood in the pulpit with their underware.

Y.E.S. in love and admonishment i implore you to reexamine the call if it is a call and study about WHY we dance. I love you and pray for you all to dance for the glory of God and to save souls. If you are a community dance ministry or a church dance ministry trying to reach the unsaved, YOU MUST cover your temple with holy praise garments. Your garments are revealing too much. Your dance was beautiful and choice of songs are perfect but who is thinking about Jesus when the dancers aren't wearing any clothing. We must be mindful of what we wear and what we do as liturgical dancers.

The songs were a good selection for young people because it spoke of having a personal relationship with the Lord.I do have one suggestion: Even though the outfits were beautiful they were a little too revealing...after all it is a ministry and the focus should be on the spirit. Anything that distracts from the working of the spirit is not good. His spirit covers all of our sins and we should be clothed in his glory especially when we are endeavoring to bring others with us. AMEN!

I understand where ur coming from ...but those dancers are not from a church - they r from a local dance school....I was there and particpated... this was a beautiful event!!

God Bless ur hearts but just a suggstn. Evryone that comes to church isn't saved. The outfits can b a bit distrct to the unsaved. I am a dance leadr myself. I undrstnd the effct ur goin 4 but just a littl to much shown. I pray that God contu to use u.

Hi I find this conversation interesting......anyway I wouldn't say it was a great book, but I will say what Afeni did reveal was a great read..... Afeni has issues with talking about her past so I don't know if we will ever see a full autobiography . Do you think so? Also Jasmine Guy wasn't qualified enough to take on this project in my opinion, I found her interjections and narrating annoying to say the least, but all in all Tupac's my boy and I was curious about his mom's story.

yeah that's true. i read it a long time ago. she did leave things out on purpose. i guess she probably wanted to focus on the more important things she went through. but i still think she should've talked about mutulu beacause he was a massive influence on tupac's life. she should'e acknowledged that at least. other than that it was a great book and i learned alot from her. she's so intelligent. she definetly should be a teacher. im glad you read it.

Thanks yea I just read it....I must say I was kinda dissapointed because she left out a lot of things It's not a full biography she never talked about when she met Tupac's father or Mutulu Shakur

Oh, Afeni is a real strong woman, when tupac was inside of her, the Goverment acussed her (like other Black Panther) of Assasinate, Terrosising, and more, and she defend herself and win a case, that guys acussed her with guilty of 200 years in jail. Strong woman, only a woman like that can make Tupac, simply amazing, great.
