we did many a favor by removing saddam. america, if nothing else, gave people a chance to experience freedom that lived under oppression for so long. i am not saying the war was a good idea alltogether it certainly caused us many problems and incited more hatred than we had. but dont make the mistake of saying EVERYTHING we did was mad. at least realize that SOME good did come out of it. that is one thing i have learned in all this.

Well it was put it to me this way. The youth in the 60's were on the verge of revolution. They wanted it, and it didn't end up how they wanted it. In the 70's 80's and 90's, people became apathetic. They didn't care what the government did as long as there was some form of security in their life be it a job, a car, a house, etc. Now we kids coming of age in the new millennium have seen that apathy lets politicians get away with evil shit.
