In spanish when C.Cross says "think we're gonna make it" sounds like "pingüino rodríguez". Pingüino means pinguin and rodríguez is a very common surname. It´s just a joke. One day a man on spanish TV said that he had the secret translations in spanish of a lot of famous songs in english. Just kidding. The reason can be that in Spain, when we don´t understand the lyrics in english, we make our personal translation, just for fun, to keep on singing, although we´ve got no idea what we are saying.

Il se dégage quelque chose de très nostalgique, très doux, très "sécurisant" (c est ptetre les paroles "And I was in your arm, and you were in my arms, it's alright"). Comme tout ce qui est nostalgique, ce morceau est d'une tristesse absolue (l'utilisation du passé dans les paroles). The cat who brought house to Chi, Frankie Knuckles, is from NY! Frankie learned from Larry Levan (Brooklyn). Then you have producers such as Leroy Burgess, Patrick Adams, Tom Mouton, et al. We're talking like the mid-late 70's early 80's. Chi put what they were doing with instruments to a synth beat. If that's house then ok, but what everyone acknowledges as the "first" house records- It ain't no big thing, by Donna McGhee, for example, came out of NY.

I dont think so youngsta I lived during those times where as U was born at that time. I lived it! You read and heard about it, and apparently U have been mislead. The Jungle Bros, Todd Terry, Doug Lazy,Just to name a few artist of the 87' thru 94' era.Okay now Warlock Records, Sleeping Bag Records, and Fresh Records all House Recrds labels out of NYC during the 80's to 90's.
