Solder batts together like that to increase capacity. Won't hurt the batts. He has 6 cells there at 3.7v/1660mAh. If you pause @ 1:08-1:09 you can see, there are three pairs soldered in parallel and each of these is in series with the next pair. That produces 11.1v/3320mAh. I don't know if this is fake or not but I do know that at time marker 1:04 to 1:06 this guy has to of the cells soldered together on both ends. If you were to do this, essentially connecting two batteries together with no load on them you would be effectively shorting out the batteries which WILL cause substantial heat to build up quite quickly and possible cause the cells to explode, bubble, or melt. I would still try it however, I would copy how the dead battery is set up exactly.

NICE. You can also pull em out to condition on a Li-ion compatible RC charger... Basically, make sure each cell is charged to the same voltage/capacity. I do this with my RC's and it makes the batt's last way longer.

The part about acetone aiding fuel vapourization is BS. What it's probably doing is just cleaning out the engine a bit - meaning that putting acetone in your gas just once ought to improve your mileage over at least several tankfuls of gas. Personally, I would go with an actual commercial engine cleaner instead; that way if it *does* harm my engine I can sue. If I put acetone in my gas and mess something up I have only myself to blame.

I agree,Being a garage gadget guy myself, we tested acetone mixed with fuel on rings and other inner engine parts, not good! I wouldnt really recommend using the acetone unless you do not care about how long your engine will last. It is a great idea, but do some testing before using it on your 20,000 vehicle!

I have heard of people doing this. Some say they have great results, some say they have none. I'm sceptical about him getting only 17mpg starting out. (unless his car was in DIRE need of a tune up) he should have been getting upper 20s mpg to start with. I haven't heard of anyone damaging their car with acetone. Might be worth a shot.

It does not change the operation of the street light computer. It merely helps vehicles to be seen, helping the computer to know you're there. This really will only benefit motorcycles and small cars as stated in the video. All it does is help a car to be seen, not immediately change it to green.
