This game is great for anyone. The cutscenes are incredibly long, and cutscene haters won't be disappointed. The cutscene's graphics are really high and the storyline is pretty well. 9.8/10. Online was rubbish IMO. I'll never touch MGO ever again. Anyway, highly recommended whether you know the full storyline or not.

hey Im gettin this game and since past Metal Gears I have always played on HARD. This game has different difficulties. Which one in MGS4 is the equivalent of HARD and is it avaliable at the start? I want enemies to be weaker and die after a few shots realistically.But I want it to be EXTREMELY tough. I Dont want Snake to be a billion times stronger and take an infinity bullets like in Snake Eater. Also I want a small amount of ammo, Like 3 grenades. Which would be best.

Well, MGS4 has an awesome gameplay... to enjoy that u dont need mgs1-3. &it has somewhat engrossing storyline on its own but if u know the background thn it wud add value to it. so gettin mgs4 is definitely a thumbs up... but if u get mgs1-3 also then its two thumbs up ;)

ur answers warboss72... 1) u play as Solid Snake, who has grown old. 2) by at the end of mgs4, if u mean antagonist of the game then its liquid ocelot - revolver ocelot whose body has been taken over by liquid snake. though, there have been a reference to a guy in mgs4 being the real big boss... but i m not sure. 3) solidus snake is the third clone that liquid or solid did not know about. His identity was kept top secret. though, he was defeated and killed at the end of MGS2.

From people extracting the files and looking at the size :/ Konjima couldnt fit what he wanted on the disc which was the japanese audio track which would of been another 20gbs+. The only thing that will ever fill a bluray would be lots of high quality audio or HD prerenedered movies.

yeah, it didnt need to be cut down however they wanted to add the japanese audio on the disc as well but it wouldnt fit. The uncompressed audio takes up huge amount of space. Would of easily fit if they compressed it though but i guess they wanted it to be perfect :/ 2/3 disc games aren't uncommon so i can see them. The ps3 has better processors than the 360 so things might need to be altered/downgraded if they ever did a 360 version. But who knows, prob never happen.

Dual layer HD-DVD holds 30gbs however 360 uses dvds to play games which is 9gb max. Mgs4 = 34gbs, just because a blue ray holds 50gb doesnt mean the game fills it all. Most of it is uncompressed audio. So techincally if you compress it like any other 360 game the game could fit on 2 dvds.

Reduce dal concerto di Udine dei Subsonica di ieri sera. Premetto che io adoro Battiato e sono molto legata a questa canzone. E' vero, qui è veramente penosa, ma credo dipenda dal duetto. Io amo la voce di Samuel e quella di Battiato, ma poco ci azzeccano. Invece quando i Subsonica la suonano nei loro concerti (come ieri sera) è davvero una bomba. I never said that I hate the game. I'm just really disappointed. Do you remember the 05 tgs trailer when snake was standing by the window and liquids whole damn army marched by. Well I was looking foward to that when I spent over $500 in 2006. Well I waited two years, and Snake looks outside and 4 rebels run by. Because it's too easy and too linear. MGS isn't supposed to be a run and gun game. The game was made more like western games which means it has regenerating enemies, an endless list of available weapons, the codec is useless, and an ipod. The codec is supposed to make you feel like your alone in the field. They ruined that. The game is supposed to have a realistic battlefield theme, but you are like rambo, and you have an ipod. The only enemies at shadow moses are weak ass machines.

Well, they remade MGS1 for the Game Cube. Besides, I would even settle for it being ps2 quality, so long as the plot is top-notch.
