I saw him on the show Unsung. I always loved this song but never knew this guy sang it. He touched alot with his songs. A man that was disturbed mentally and still have this gift is just amazing. It's still a mystery about his death. Was it suicide or homicide? Did someone push him out of the window or did he jumped or maybe even fell. All of his music is just beautiful. I can't say there is one I ever disliked. Merry Christmas everyone!

There will NEVER be another Donny Hathaway. Like many of you, I have a tremendous appreciation for the talents from the architects of soul music and I consider him a treasured pillar of real SOUL music. To think this genius of a artist was so tortured and uneasy about his life is truly heartbreaking. He left the world must too soon but I believe his impact will never diminish. I really do wonder though what was running through his mind the day he looked out that window in his apartment.
