The Ultimate sound for the 'Rave Era'! I think this was one,released back in '91 if not the 1st pressing of Dominator. Guido Pernet (Founder & only Original member of HR for their duration) tells me that famous main riff in Dominator was produced using Synths connected to Guitar Amps.....

i got an Alpha Juno II and patch 86 on the memory bank, "What the.." sounds exactly like this. but here it sounds monophonic, while the "what the" patch actualy is an awesome polyphonic string/pad patch, which "simulates" the "Deep Note" sound heard in the "THX" logo. however, Charly, by the Prodigy uses the clean "what the" sound. i'm 100 % sure that it's the same sound. Perhaps Human Resource sampled it, and played it mono with some glide/portamento on a sampler. but it soound the same :)

Dominator was the third track (of hundreds) to use the big Hoover noise. It is the Alpha juno but not the preset called ' What the' even though it really sounds like it. The sound was made starting from the preset A88 'Timps' However the first two tracks that used the sound known as "HOOVER" did use the preset 'What the..." as a starting point. The second being 'Mentasm- Second Phase' (Joey Beltram and Mundo Muzique) and the first track ever to use the sound was Mundo's 'Acid pandemonium'

To anyone who thinks this is "shit". Yes by -todays' standards this is not exactly a kick ass tune. Whys it so great then? The equipment was basic. Almost certainly sequenced on an Atari ST that had less than 1000th the power of the PC that you are reading this on. The hoover stab set a -trend- for huge nasty dark as f*** noises. Those huge b-lines that tear up the bins in modern dnb are thanks to tunes like this. The dominator sample has been raped in every variety of house and techno!

i'm cheering for "top gun" in CA. iwamura is being used at leadoff and at 3B. he'd do better batting lower in the lineup but the team does better with him batting leadoff because he's a good hitter anywhere and they need a leadoff man. the rays signed him to play where needed. and they haven't done too bad this season and i think they should get stronger as the year goes on.

if the rays want to beat the twins, they will have to be the aggressor and just pound away and their pitchers will just have to quickly get the team back in the dugout so the offense can go do its thing. i like how crawford went back to second instead of staying at third waiting for his teammate to die and get tagged out to bad it backfired but nice teamwork. and i think their second baseman Upton is great as hell.

Yes, youtube does delete/hide/spam videos. I once tried to put up videos on Barack Obama's affiliation with the CFR, as well as other politicians running for president(Hillary, John M., John E., Rudy, etc.) on facebook. It was posted, then the next day the video was deleted from facebook and youtube. You should type in "Barack Obama CFR" and check out for yourself if you don't already know about it.
