After watching all these videos about Dubai, I realized that this city could become a reason for WW3 happening in the near future. Nothing against it. I think it looks freaking awesome and would love to visit, but the rest of the world is looking down on it and I am sure it's just a matter of time before Dubai becomes a target. I lived there for ten months under contract and saw how the foreign workers were treated (mostly Indian and eastern European) if you think racism is bad in the UK or US, you haven't seen anything until you see how workers are treated in the UAE. I saw a few deaths out there that could have been avoided by better work practice, but people were allowed to die because it was cheaper to pay compensation than to stop work and save them. Es wäre schön, wenn "Mit offenen Karten" auch mal einen Beitrag über das Nachbars-Emirat Ras-Al-Khaimah machen könnte. Das Land ist sehr sehr klein (nur so gross wie Kanton St. Gallen), und dennoch sind die Baustellen riesig. Das ist ein Emirat, wo die Wüste ökonomisch blüht (zur Info: eine Wüste, die kein Erdöl hergibt). Das Land boomt. Das Erfolgsrezept ist verblüffend. Das aufzuzeigen wäre sehr interessant!!!
