The language is phenetic so every letter makes its own sound. After you got that 36 letter "alphabet sounds" learned and memorized everything else will be a breeze after that!

May be you should refer to some maps from the older times to realize that the kraina that was referred to is not what the Ukraine is today. The reference to the borderland was frome the time that the not so much "inland" became the buffer between the khanates and the different kenyaz lands after 1221. Does anyone know where this was filmed? Like I'm interested in a city and even location. I'm guessing it's one of those grand soviet pavilions that they built all over the USSR in the 60's. I thought I knew but I lost the page I saved on wikipedia that had pictures. Any ideas?

There are large oil and gas deposits in Ukraine, mostly in the Black Sea and Azov sea shelfs. ALl that is needed is to an infrastructure built to extract, refine and distribute the oil and gas.
