silver has the density of 92.5% that of lead which doesn't explain the findings. of course an ill fitting (smaller) round is going to be less powerful however because the gases from the charge would be lost as the round was fired. once again, altho i like mythbusters i wish they wouldn't sacrifice science for entertainment value. as many believe this on face value. a fair test with same quality rounds would have gave the answers they were looking for but a lot more accurately.

My concern is when people have no regard for resources and the environment, and when I read how someone's talking about using gold in bullets (as an example) I think that's very fucking stupid. You can look up all the good and beneficial applications of gold yourself, not to mention it's the best thing to secure money. It's always amazing to see anything David Sylvian. I have loved him forever. I'm almost 34 now and have loved him/Japan since I was 8 or 9. Gone To Earth has been my #1 album since 86 when I first heard it (I was 12!!). It was a complete awakening for me that album. I remember not leaving my room for an entire weekend when I first bought it because it was so beautiful! I remember crying and not being able to tell anyone why since I thought they'd think I was a freak for an album making me cry!

You do not need to cover the silver with the baking soda; as long as the baking soda is dissolved in the water the reaction will work. Also, multiple washes are not necessary; just leave the silver in the solution longer and the reaction will continue to remove the tarnish.

Thank you for your video. I had seen this demonstration at a show once where the vendor was selling a kit with a piece of aluminum to make the reacation with the water and baking soda. You saved me money and clutter. I used a pyrex dish lined with aluminum foil. The results speak for itself. Thanks again.

Casey, unfortunatly, is not on featured on the album at all, as he died just over a year ago, on November 24, 2007. but they still recognize him as being the guitarist on the booklet... RIP Casey
