It was only a few months ago,when CCTV framing to suppose to mrrt at the top, there was an emotional excitment among the by-standers to wait whether all the connections were to meet as expected, the newspaper reporter mentioned that all the connection work had to be done within the hours because of the thermal condition that the sun hits part of the building but not the other part..Those stories were exciting to read about, because it was like the acrobats in the circus!But this is a tall bldg.!

How strong? No one even ever could measure them for sure. But you could go to the library and borrow couple books to read about the mystery subject that no expert could give you a definite answer. If CCTV was filed with the building department in San Francisco and to be built in that city,mostly likely they would not allow a building like CCTV to be built there. But in Beijing, I remembered only thirty years back, my former boss, Mr. Pei who spoke about there should be a building height limit in Beijing! I'm not an expert in skyscraper building statics at all. But as a novice comment I intuitivly would say that this building stands on 2 legs, so it should be more stable than one that only stands on 1. :-) (maybe this is a silly comment). At least one can think of that it will not swing around when a stong wind blows, again, is this good or bad in terms of building statics?

What had been terribly wrong is as I said in my last posting that when some people started copying, they did not think thoroughly, the result of CCTV is disasterious that a 500 foot +/- tall building, asymetrically designed,is built in a known earthquake zone Beijing. Maybe the next step is to just plain make the feeds available to the public, ala websites, etc... that would remove the whole "Big Brother" aspect and give it more of a "Anyone can watch, not just the 'watchers' "... Who do you think you are being so offensive? Calm down. As I said they're the worst live band I've ever seen. That means I've seen them live. At V Festival 2006 to be precise and every single song was sung appallingly. It's my opinion and I'm entitled to it. I've also seen Oasis live 6 times and there's no comparison. Richard Archer cannot sing and if you rate Hard-Fi live it shows precisely how much you know about music. I suggest you take your own advice.
