It's all about your opinion, man. You obviously don't see anything wrong with consuming animals and you are entitled to that. But the point I'm trying to get across is that most of the vegetarian diet consists of NON-living food. Yes, plants are living. No, vegetables and fruit are not. The main difference between plants and animals as living things, though, is sentience. One can feel pain, think and can express emotion. Whereas, the other has absolutely no capacity for any of that stuff.

Both plants and animals have been here way too long to be choosing sides regarding who's worthy of being consumed by something else....I don't understand what's wrong with eating everything that was here before you were. We're not only talking about seeds here. We're talking about the part you eat. My point is that most of what vegetarians eat is naturally meant to be eaten. I.E. Fruits and vegetables. In most cases it's not the actual plant itself. But of course diets vary. Besides, I already told you that plants are not sentient, and are incapable of pain and though. So even if vegetarians did eat plants, which isn't the case, it would be totally different.

I don't think Barack Obama, at the time, really believed that there were 57 states. I doubt Biden thought that JOBS was a 3-letter word, either. That said, when you can't recall a single court case except for Roe v. Wade, I think it displays a certain amount of ignorance. If I was asked to bring one up off the top of my head, it wouldn't take over 30 seconds. That really can't be said for many McCain (and, to be fair, Obama) supporters.
