I am a big fan of early and mid 80's music, and though this song came years later, it still had that 80's clear, clean, melodic sound, but it somehow got by me. Fast forward years later to 2005, this song was playing around the time of my father's funeral, and the line, "I love you more than you love me" just seemed so naturally apropos at that time and it now reminds me of him. I wish I could have told him so. :) Great song!

You've mentioned its quite transistory, but I like the features quite a bit! Inre: 3rd party software. You're right, many school districts won't have it, but technically the commercial e-whiteboard software is third party. Also, replacing batteries? Are you joking? This was a nice attempt, but NOT an accurate assessment. Your right in that a wii mote is great for shoe string budgets that have tech savvy staff available, and a relaxed enough IT policy that will allow 3rd party software created by a student to be installed on district property, but how happy would that tech savvy staff be outfitting, trouble shooting, building pens, replacing batteries, adjusting fields of view, reducing theft of remotes, checking Bluetooth for all those classrooms?

This analysis is not that realistic as it does not analyse the Promethean interactive whiteboard. This technology is digital compared to the SMART board in this clip, which is touch sensitive. It doesn't seem entirely necessary at all, does it? The technology just isn't yet here to make something like this work intuitively at a low cost. People who are used to working on computers would just as soon project their laptop screen or simply take a picture of a real whiteboard rather than mess with either of these technologies. BTW, I carry a digital camera to all of my clients for the express purpose of "saving" whiteboarded ideas. Stupid simple -> best solution.

Having worked with the commercial whiteboard, projector and software It seemed to be a total loss. Although, anybody with a laptop could download the software over the Intranet, hardly anyone did. Too much trouble I guess. Tons of meeting rooms and I never attended a meeting where anyone from peon to executive VP used the smart whiteboard. I attempted to use it and was disappointed at how difficult it was to calibrate in the first place and how easily it was thrown out of calibration.

my report on the e-cig! 1. WOW totally impressed right out of the box. 2. its a little harder of a pull than a normal cig but I can adjust Im sure 3. I got the Marlboro flavored nic-cartridges but its not quite the same, again I can adjust 4. as pathetic as it sounds, I and other smokers get used to the harsh intake from a regular smoke - this isnt harsh so it will take some getting used to with this as well 5. If they could release it for the 2012 model year, it would put them in direct competition with the American EREVs, and if they could keep the $27,000 MSRP, this car can be had after tax credits for $19,500 while American EREVs would be around $30,000. If nothing else, it would at least give drivers a variety of energy efficient alternatives to consider.

14 hours is using a 110v line. Use 240v and the time is cut in half. Bear in mind that your car is parked over 80% of the time and 80% of drivers travel less than 60km per day. It works flawlessly and we know the election results in less than 5 hours. Voting scandals DECREASED after electronic voting. There is LESS time for corruption. in Brazil, we have been using computer voting machines for more than 10 years already all over the country (and voting is mandatory here, so we have more than 100 million voters in each election). the elections are FASTER and MUCH MORE RELIABLE than paper ballots. Come on... your entire economic system, all your money depends on electronic equipments, that can also be hacked in theory. But you dont trust it for voting? The fact that they are not speaks volumes about the level of education and intelligence of the american public at large re politcal issues as well as their blind faith in the integrity of their politicians. This matter should have been dealt with long ago. it will be interesting to see how much the exit polls are at varience with the actual vote. Why not use optical scanners and have a paper trail? It seems like common sence.

Voting machines are the dumbest invention ever... Voting should ALWAYS use paper and pencil ballots. That's how we do it here in Canada and it works great and I hope they never change it.
