yah im a kick boxer/ground fighter so what no matter how hard you hit heavy hitters tend to be slower and the force of the hit no matter how great it takes 1/2 a second to doge it take him down and arm bar, choke ,etc. So 200 pounds for a punch or 6 pounds witch can easily snap your elbow in an arm bar. these results are a little bias. The force would have to depend on the exact technique, and over all strength of the individual person. for example Mike Tyson would have hit a lot harder than these cats, and crocop would have kicked a lot harder. And in a fight each of these fighters would not contain the same power and speed as they get tired. So many other variables to consider. Still these cats a freaken animals!!

Besides saying that grappling is useless in one against many fights is not true. Think of it from the point of many weaker strikers taking on a stronger striker. 2 on 1lets say. Best strategy for them would be to get that guy on the ground and keep him there while the second guy would finish him off while he s defenseless. So if the guy doesn't know anything about it and doesn't know how to avoid it no matter how good of a striker he is he ll be in trouble.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree. I'm studying Kajuknebo ( a mixed martial art) and even the jr. belts know basic knife defense. Once you reach purple, you work more with weapons and what not. Of course, I do agree that pretty much all the fighting you see on TV is fake. Entertaining, but fake.

No I meant there is no MA that can prepare you for getting jumped yes IMO GJJ is the best for street self defense but I didnt mean in the scenario of multiple attackers there is nothing tp prepare you for that and any MA that claims so is a con. getthere24 there is no martial art that can prepare you for multiple attackers period there are way too many variables the best thing to do is walk away but sometimes that isnt possible so the most effective martial art where the main goal is to not get hurt is gracie jiujitsu IMO. I think it has been proving enough times. Saying why arent there multiple attackers are guys with weapons in MMA is kind of like saying why dont the big slow guys in NFL just shoot the RB because they cant catch him

because ufc is more like the sports equivalent to mma. the ufc is step my with rules that make it safe for the fighters. sure it would be entertaining to see knife fighting in a ring but the reality of it is, you would be sitting there for 3 minutes watching nothing cause most people would be so cautious that the smartest move would be for both fighters to do nothing cause no one wants to be stabbed for entertainment, no matter how much training they have had.

I agree each system has it's of styles, Example: Jujitsu has over 700 known styles. Just like the art of Karate(Okinawa) has alot of chinese and japanese influence. Like Kung Fu's origins can be traced back to dharma Marga and Wushu, but the style of style of wing chun was developed by a young woman who founded her own style.

I like it and I really think it's impressive, but many people could get tricked into believing this style can help you kick ass, this is Xtreme Martial Arts, it's purely for show purpose. super back spin air kicks and double backflips are easily predictable so it doesn't work...I just want to make sure people make the difference between fighting and show.

I SURE hope you're trolling, because MMA is FAR from being easy, it's one of the hardest Martial Arts training there is with Kyokushin Karate and Thai and kick Boxing. If you'd watch more closely, you'd see that MMA fighters aren't clumsy at all, all of their moves are controlled. This acrobatic feat does NOTHING in a fight...MMA is ALL about fighting...so...which one is best in a fight?

Personally, I view him him as one of the greats because his wrestling skills is top tier, he's not afraid to try anything new, he's always entertaining, plus his attitude is great for the sport. He may seem arrogant by his antics, but he's just having fun. From what of seen of his interactions with other fighters after matches is very humble. Another bonus is that he's not afraid of checking out other gyms. He had participated in a local BJJ tournament just for kicks.

Genki Sudo doesn't have any noticable wins, except for Nathan Marquardt and that was for ages ago, and Ramon Dekkers... which is really nothing because Dekkers never did MMA and Genki won by submission (which dekkers doesn't know shit about)... Genki's good MMA fighter, but surely not one of MMA's greats. Correct me if I am wrong...

Correct there is not that much difference distance wise kicking with your foot and the bottom of your shin. And the shin is safer for the kicker and more painful for the target.

The best techniuqe is to use the push kick / tip kick and push him off balance before he can fully execute it. You have to be quick off course. It might still hit you but itll be half the damage. Otherwise either try to dodge it or just block it.

I like that MT is very conditioned if your true MT. KF is so conditioned it's not even funny. I believe as long as the KF practioner spars well along with all of the other training then he/she's got one up on alot of training styles. KF is a very complete system if you have a good teacher. It's hard to find pure MT in america. All this watered down mumbo jumbo. Same with finding true KF in america. hard to find.

Good comment rusty. I believe that the strength of the kick is generated to different degrees depending on who's doing the kicking. I do agree that the KF kicks target more accurately. That's what I meant by "precision" kicking and striking. You dont find alot of precision kicking in MT. At least not with pure mobility in effect. More mobility = more velocity = more power

I've trained mt and kung fu as well (kung fu since i was 7. mt for about 4 years now) and I sort of agree that a kf practitioner can lay you out with a kick just as well as a mt practitioner, but do you think it's really because kf kicks are harder? In my experience it's because we have more mobility, many more kicks and we can target more accurately. Is that what you mean or have you really met people who can kick straight up harder?
