After he got the 23800 and divided it by 25 the right answer is 952. After this I checked on a calculator that it really was the right answer. I wouldn't have got that especially in half a minute. It's just unbelievable the way he did that.

dmarden: It doesn't whether or not you use a comma or a full stop as a decimal point; the answer to 319 * 75 is never going to be 23[point]850. The explanation of where the 'decimal'reference is in the last post I made. And by the way, I come from a place that IS in Europe, uses FULL STOPS for decimals, and IS NOT in the UK. Can you figure out where that might be?

Came back to this thread after many months; had to read it again to be able to answer your question. LOL. I didn't bring up decimals; Ericandroy's solution included 75/6 as part of the calculations. Gameshowfreak pointed out that this makes 12.5, and said that that's not allowed. What I did was say (or meant to say) was that there's no explicit rule to say you can't use decimals.
