Great concept...HOWEVER...you cross the line and went to far! Why not use music from Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Deitrick Haddon, Rev. James Cleveland, Be Be and Ce Ce...these artist would have been the most appropriate for your program. Yes, we should reach all people, but not doing just anything. It appeared you were in the sanctuary on holy ground...next time keep it holy and go outside under a tent on the parking lot!

That was an awesome program...many churches need to recognize the different generations that are within their churches...I would have loved to see the sermon on the Autopsy of a Dead Church...so many churches are going through a crisis where the younger generations are not allowed to shine their lights and show their different gifts...We NEED this at my church...

Not only was this a great idea and a great part of the service but it allowed for the many members to participate. Not only did they dance but they were also dressed to a T. Praise God that he is able to clean us up so well!!!! Even while we are still having fun in church.

How do you feel that there is no difference between GTRBC and the club? As a member, I am offended. What was done is only done ONE Sunday out of an entire year to CELEBRATE our church anniversary. There was no "rump shaking", nothing indecent, no cursing, no vulgarity and nothing negative. It was merely for each age bracket to represent in their own way. If you are too "holy" to see that, then the problem lies within you, not our church.

That's what's up, GTR. Pastor Smith, you're really doing a great job at GTR...the people looked as though they really enjoyed what they were doing, and it was clean and fun. Thanks for conveying to the church at large that you can be sanctified and still smile. There's no point in having to go through hell ALL THE TIME down here in order to get to Heaven. Thanks, Dewey and the GTR family for letting us know that GTR doesn't fit the bill "of a dead church"! God bless you on your anniversary...

No I don't believe it is, only parts of it. I think they used a laser pointer for the string that was following him so that wasn't stop motion, but I believe the string falling out of his coat was stop motion, or they connected the strings to a fishing line and he pulled them down. While he was walking, he probably pulled along the rest of the string in some way with fishing line as well, which is why his arms swayed and made him walk that way. ^-^ Hope I helped
