I once shot a wolf while hunting. I knocked it's feet out with a buckshot and slit its throat while it was whining, and it make a weird, guttural gurgling sound as the knife cut through its windpipe. Just for laughs, I tossed its most of its body off a cliff, ate some of it, and kept the head as a trophy.
