If half of America voted for Ron Paul, you'll never hear about it in the media because he's not running so he won't be mentioned in the statisics, however even if Baldwin loses but still has a huge amount of votes, the media will report that because he's a real candidate. Normally I would say write Ron Paul in when you vote, but since Ron Paul is't running anymore and has endorsed someone very close to his ideas, that said he would make Paul his Treasury Secretary you would be foolish to not vote for Chuck Baldwin if you like Ron Paul. I think it's a difference of opinion, not a lack of honesty. Let the people who made bad decisions live with the consequences rather than sticking the more prudent people with the bill. Letting the malinvestments clear out of the system helps it recover sooner. The number of years is academic because the slaves did not start their own revolution. From your accounting, the slaves would have waited forever to free themselves. The forefathers had the guts to stand up to their masters and take matters in their own hands. What people fail to realize (RonPaulisInsane) is that the system that the government is trying to prop up is a false system. When you get your paycheck at the end of the week, you do not accumulate any wealth or actual assets. Those federal reserve notes (now digits in a computer) are representative of debt. McCain and Obama are imperialistic. I can in NO way shape or form support that behavior, philosophy, view. I have to live with myself. Knowing that my vote was for either one of these 2, means they kill more innocent civilians why they spread "democracy", at least I know I didn't support them. I can sleep at night.

Think what a left congress would do with a hard left president and a sympethetic supreme court. No doubt, McCain is note the poster child of liberty; but neither is he a socialist totalitarian like Obama. Casting a vote which increases the chances of this happening is unacceptable, in my view.
