This is not to do with this video but I've read her novel 'The God of small things' and I must it wasn't bad. It won the booker prize, and was widely aclaimed by critics. However I think she tended to overuse her language, its lyrical but somewhat overpowering. I also think some of the similes didn't for me fit. Its worth giving a read for those who have not read it. Then you can make your own mind about the book.
