I second that maddrum2112. James is one of my favorite vocalists. He is an awesome vocalist and no one is perfect. He carried metal when Bruce and Rob weren't doing much. The band would not be the same without him.

Having seen this band many, many times live I can say that James has never had a flawless night...but then none of them have. The tremendous complexity and strain it takes to sing this live no one can understand unless one were to attempt this. Try it. Go sing DT for 3 hours and see where you rate. Just the same he is sick or vocally challeged alot! But he is a fucking trooper and ALWAYS gives 150%. After 20 years of listening they never bore or fail to amaze me.

Mike Portnoy is insane,ill out of his mind as usual,Petrucci is awesome,Myuong or whatever is great,and same for jordan rudess. the song kicks ass. i love dream theater !

Like how dream theater, though much better than brittany spears, is considered the music while brittany is not. Bruce certainly doesn't sound as good as he used to, either. Anyhow, sometimes James' voice can be a little too much for me, but I still love DT and he's one of my favorite vocalists, regardless. He's definitely an improvement over the guy on WDADU (I can't remember his name at the moment).

I have to agree with him. Mike Portnoy is a big egocentrical if you watch anything with him. In his DVD's and Behind the Scene clips, he is always being funny and the center of attention, dont get me wrong though. I love Portnoy and DT. Both rock, he's the best drummer hands down so i guess he's allowed to be arogant.

I wasn't refering only to this solo. He's the only one that has a full album record DVD. (drums of thought) No other DT member does that. At least not for a DT album. Have you seen a Petrucci special DVD that has all the guitar seasons from beginning to end for any album? And you can see portnoy being over-active in almost every concert. By the way portnoy has a couple of side bands that he plays. I like all DT members and portnoy too ofcourse. They rock.
