I watched Fantasia as a child of 4 and was so entranced, it remained with me for a lifetime...Night on Bald Mountain, Hall of the Mountain King, The Socerer's Apprentice,...I was SOO disappointed with the re-release, I cannot watch it. I have a PhD in Nuclear Physics, worked for 30 yrs. as a Child Protective Services Social Worker, do not swear, use drugs or alcohol am not promiscious.Back in the 40's & 50's, parents raised childen, not TV or the movies.

But, what gets on my nerves is when people want to talk about their favorites on other people's videos. What's the point when it will most likely be marked as spam by fans. And believe it or not, I like Leona. But, I felt Fantasia's version more. I'm tired of people constantly talking about Leona's range. Range isn't the only thing that makes a great singer.

as a singer myself i would have to disagree... fantasia definitely got better to the end but in the beginning who could tell she wasnt breathing properly and phrasing was off... leona's acrobatics where classy and kept your attention... i liked leona's for the simple fact it showed off everything thats beautiful in her voice but fantasia's voice is harsh and not pleasing to MY ear anyway...
