I am quite the aficionado of romantic era classical music and I think of Dvorak as one of the greatest composers of his time. His non-European influence set him apart from other composers. Question: Was the symphony number 9 at heart American or Bohemian?

Gee,some of the reviews here sound like its a Grateful Dead or Rolling Stones concert!? But this brilliant work by ol'Antonin still stands today as a masterpiece! I would like to add that in the 2nd movement,its the FIRST inclusion of American folk-blues-gospel-jazz-whatever in a symphonic work; predating Copeland & Gershwin by a good 30 years!

Ce n'est pas vrai. Je suis passé dans la classe de Delangle, et on ne fait pas que de la musique contemporaine. Beaucoup de créations, certes, mais aussi un gros de travail de répertoire, transcriptions, ensembles de saxophones... Et puis le prof ne fait pas tout, le lieu aussi, et le CNSM est une formidable école, ouverte sur le monde musical dans son entièreté.

Actually, he isnt even really close to the best today. Hemke, Londeix, Defayette, and Delangle are all still alive (I believe). They are the true masters of the saxophone. And throat position is dependent on how the note is produced in overtones, so not all throat positions are going to be the same for all notes

Qui dit prof dit quelqu'un qui doit être capable d'emmener le plus grand nombre le plus haut posiible et non pas d'en dégouter 95 pour 100 afin de pouvoir dire "les meilleurs c moi qui les aient formés"! Pour J.Y fourmeau c pas sa meilleur version... Et pour ce qui est de la pièce, elle ne le met pas en valeur...

por favor si vi unas que estuvieron en el programa de laura y las vi en el programa de Monica zeballos. Las panelistas que fueron a donde laura dijieron que el marido la golpiaba. Cuando las vi en el show de monica dijo que el marido era el primo que la sacaba a bailar. Asi que ni se cual de los dos programas eran reales.
