this is the "theme song" for marin morrison. she passed away yesterday after a long fight with brain cancer. in 2005, she was given 3 months to live. one of her many surgeries left her right side paralyzed, yet she still swam in the 2008 paralymics. this song was an inspiration to her, and she should be an inspiration to all of us. God bless you, marin!

I agree...I have had many trials in life and in May of 2006, I was given this CD for my birthday. I played this song over and over and over to help me gain the courage to keep going. This is a great song, one I wish I had written! Very powerful and affecting. What greater compliment can a singer receive but that the song he sings makes an impact like that?
